PC-Crash's Collision Optimizer is used to determine vehicle speeds and other impact parameters automatically, based on the rest and/or intermediate positions specified.

Red Box: The Optimizer analyses a number of different values (often over a hundred) for the selected parameters by calculating trajectories for each set of values. In doing so, it retains values which minimize the error between the calculated rest and/or intermediate positions trajectory and the specified ones.
